These stunning bowls are hand turned from a fallen wood, Acacia Tortillus, one of Africa's hardest woods. We only purchase fallen wood that has been on the ground for 10 years or more and process the wood through a 3 month regiment of turning and soaking in our special oil blend and then drying. A process that is repeated three times over the course of three months to expose the richly hued, lustrous grain of this iconic wood.
Care: Hand wash in warm soapy water. Do not put these heirloom pieces in a dish washer.
